About Hong Kong Star Chinese Cuisine
Located at 3451 Cobb Pkwy NW #9, Acworth, GA 30101, Hong Kong Star Chinese Cuisine operates as a chinese restaurant serving Acworth in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ10 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (770) 917-0688. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is hkstarcuisine.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 585 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Acworth is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Acworth is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I was in the area (from ITP) visiting friends who'd recently moved to Acworth, and we collectively decided on having American-Chinese for dinner. We ordered several entreΓ©s and apps from Hong Kong Star -- and ALL of us were very, very pleased with everything (everyone took a bit of each entreΓ© ordered), and there was not one complaint. The Orange Chix, Mongolian Beef, Lemon fish and their night's special (Yum-Yum Shrimp) was some of the best American-Chinese food I've ever eaten. Everything from the quality of the proteins to the sauces to the portions was leaps ahead of other Chinese restaurants. The quality and freahness of the ingredients was A+. The flavor of each of the various sauces in dishes was very moorish -- I could eat from their menu 6 out of 7 days/week! While it may cost an extra 1-2 dollars per entree than nearby places, it is well worth it.

Wow I never came here and my hubby lived in Acworth for ten years. We would have gone here for sit in dining for ten years. We heard about it after we moved to Bartow and a family that lives in our neighborhood in White goes here a few times a year for sit in. Very nice place to eat and evening is relaxing. The food was so good for dinner. The soup very hot I had Jalapeno Pork. I shall return it will be like driving to Canton. They serve.wine and beer the place was inviting. Staff very kind and on top of dishes etc. A big thumb up !!

A word I do not often use, in fact maybe a first. DELICIOUS! My kids and I used to go there when it first opened. We moved away and it was always the place I compare others to. Food is absolutely Fantastic! Atmosphere is serene. There is a window you can actually watch them cook if you are lucky enough to be near it. Hands down the best quality, taste, so satisfying! I am really super glad this small business has survived. I highly recommend!

We've been coming here for a few years now. One of very few traditional American Chinese restaurants in the area with classic cuisines. Three star dishes, soups, and anything off of wok are some good eats. Dining hall staff provides excellent services as well.

We have been having trouble finding a good chinese restaurant until now. Our food was fantastic π!! I got the Combination Orange Chicken that came with fried rice (at no extra charge, say what?) It also cane with soup (your choice), an eggroll and your choice of a chicken wing or a crab rangoon, I chose the chicken wing. My husband got the Pepper Steak and it also came with fried rice at no extra charge. Now lets about taste, My Egg Drop soup was very good, I just needed to add a smidge of salt, the fried noodles were very good. The Orange Chicken was very tasty, you could actually taste the orange in it. The eggroll was feesy made and piping hot when I got it and they arent afraid to season their eggrolls because with that and the duck sauce it was OMG! π. The chicken wings were very good, hot and crispy and so good dipped in the duck sauce. My husband said his Pepper Steak had good flavor and the steak was very tender and the fried rice was plenitful on both of our plates. Our server was wonderful, she was very attentive to us and made sure we wanted for nothing, so 5 stars alone for the service. We will definitely be back so I can try other dishes from there, oh I can hardly w
